Don't be misled by my earlier post about my preference being revolvers. I have several autos and like them a lot and carry them quiet often, but I keep them CLEAN! A revolver whether clean or not is going to fire, can't say that for a semi-auto. while the semi-autos are very reliable, some people are not. had a gentleman in a CCW Class that came to qualify with a S&W 38 Spcl. When he opened the cylinder, the whole back of the cylinder was a mass of rust, when ask about cleaning it, he said that he like to clean his gun once a year. Told him to never buy a semi-auto.
